Six Word Stories

Narrating a story in six words never occurred to me but since reading that Ernest Hemingway is credited with the following 'For sale, Baby shoes, Never worn', I've been playing with words and creating my own six word stories.

Composing a meaningful story with such brevity is quite an amazing challenge!

Obviously I've come late to the table because when I googled for examples, I discovered many web sites posting six word stories the public at large submits.

Six word stories reminds me of writing newspaper headlines for my High school journalism class and my attempts at composing English Haiku with seven vowels.

Here are two of my six word stories:
  • Ransom asked, Paid, Dog back home.
  • Phone call, Winner notification, Wrong number.

OK, so they're not terrific...... lets see what YOU can do.....

For some really great ones, check out the following web site: Six Word Stories

I think you will be amazed.
